As usual we seem to have far more to do in a day than can possibly get done, but that’ll probably be the story until retirement. And that’s not going to happen for a looooong time. So, let’s just roll with it,
shall we? ‘n kay. The Wadley clan is doing great and we’re excited that the weather is warming up and summer is almost here. Since our last post little Ethan finally got his tearduct fixed. No more cute little pirate look when he wakes up in the morning because he has so much goop in his eye that he can’t open it. We had a heart to heart and I asked if he was sure that he wanted to enjoy clear, goop free viewing through that ocular opening of his and although he had to think about it he ran off to bug Katelyn which I took as a yes. So, he now has a tube in there which will be there
until October. The operation was done at the end of April and he is doing great. In addition to a fixed duct, he is now running around and even starting to say things like “mama”, “dada”, “gun” “Katin” and other special words. Katelyn is doing great too! She always has something funny to say and just loooooves her primary class. She unfortunately had her first sunburn a few weeks ago when she got to play in her aunt Shalei’s backyard with a) fun cousins b) her swimsuit and c) no sunblock. It’s now turned into a tan so the pain is gone and we’ve all learned our lesson about applying sunblock even if we think there isn’t a possiblity of getting a sunburn
BriAnne is of course staying busy in Young Women’s and is working hard preparing for the stake pioneer trek which will take place at the end of
July. I am doing well at work and actually moved positions from managing clients to working with databases, a track I’ve wanted to get on for a few years now. My 10 year high school reunion was on Saturday but I unfortunately forgot to register for it so I guess it doesn’t really matter and as such I probably shouldn’t have brought it up. We hope you are enjoying the warmer weather as well and have lots of fun summer plans!

Jon, You should be writing books…you have a natural flair for expressing yourself on paper. I don’t know where you got it but you should use it ! Have you thought about writing a book? I would buy the first 50,000 copies ! Love, Mom

congrats on updating your blog!!! I was getting tired of reading about Easter in the middle of summer! It was fun to see your family yesterday, your kids are getting so big! I wish that we saw each other more often. Sorry again for my bully of a child beating up on little Ethan!
