It seems like we are usually a day late and a dollar short when it comes to a few things in life, so why should our blog be any different? I guess we’ll take solice in the fact that we are at least somewhat consistent! Our family had a great Easter, and in fact still have the colored eggs in our fridge to prove it. In Katelyn’s view (not her words though…) it would be a sham and a trajesty to eat such wonderful
works of art. Her actual words are “no Dad, we have to save those until my birthday next year and we’re going to put them in a pinata and give them to the bishop!”. We’ll be sure they stay in the fridge until then for you, Bishop Gardner! We colored the eggs Saturday morning and of course Katelyn had to put her swimming suit on for the occasion. Ethan tried the best he could to take part in the action, but he’s not quite ready to help out just yet. On Sunday we went out to Tooele and enjoyed a fine meal with BriAnne’s parents, Erin, and their neighbor and friend Maxine Grimm. It’s always fun visiting with Maxine (she’s 94 I believe) who is good friends with most of the
leaders of the church and actually worked with Pres. Hinckley back in the 1940′s to open up the Phillipines for missionary work. Needless to say she’s got some great stories! The last couple of weeks since Easter have been pretty exciting as well. Ethan isn’t walking quite yet, but he is standing on his own for 10 – 15 seconds at at a time. I’ll see if I can get some brief footage uploaded onto here. BriAnne and I got to go to with our friends Mitch and Ale to a Jazz game last week which was a blast (thanks again for dragging us along!). And we’ve been hanging out quite a bit with our friends Clayton and Lauren and we’re excited that they will be having their first baby any day now!
